Oh btw, we read 95_48 on one of the Apaches parked beside the C-5. Maybe(!) this was 85548?

EvD, the 8 Apaches that arrived were parked outside. Visible from the 08 landing where we were that moment. Somewhere near tha hangar next to the one with the Chinooks.

The C-20C 85-0049 from the PAG might have been on it's way to Afghanistan, to support Obama during his visit to Afghanistan. So perhaps it will make another fuelstop on it's way back.
Anyway, it was another highlight of this very interesting day at Ramstein.

By the way, all four Blackhawks that arrived this day carried a B/3-159 Avn badge on the nose (blue eagle).

The eight AH-64Ds which arrived in the morning are reported as 02-05299, 03-05357, 04-05474, 05-07013, 07-05503, 07-05504,
07-05506 and 10-05619, alle 2/159AVN.
