Re: ETAR 30-04-2012
And another Eglin AFB MC-130P is now inbound Ramstein. Aircraft is using callsign Reach1012 and tail should be 66-0217 but that needs confirmation.
He's almost on the ground now.
Also inbound in sequence is C-5B 87-0044 as Reach744
Army26652 also arrived UH-60L
Cheers,
Eric

Re: ETAR 30-04-2012
As for the Helos:
3 Apaches were towed in the morning (before 0900u) to C-5B 40062, did not physically see them go in but a couple were parked beside it for a while and around 1830 these were bvanished (in the Gallies' belly?)
2 Chinooks 8.70 and .074 were towed from a hangar into C-5A 00445 that departed 1730-ish but returned after an hour or so
3 Blackhawks were towed to C-5B 70044 and loaded into that around 1930, these were ..641, ..645, ..796 (or possibly 798 or 786). We saw 641 actually being towed from the row, so these were probably all still among the rows in the morning
On ramps between 1830 and 1930 (last three's that were read were white, rest all black s/ns), from hangars toward runway:
near western hangar:
_____ CH-47F inside (presumably the two CH-47F mentioned above came from this hangar?)
8745 CH-47F
8071 CH-47F
west side ramp, nose north toward hangars in two pairs the Blackhawks that landed (photoproof) in the morning:
26642 26679
26690 26652
western row (11):
_____ UH-60L
_____ UH-60L
_____ UH-60L
__677 UH-60L
__639 UH-60L
__672 UH-60L
_____ UH-60L
_____ UH-60L
__678 UH-60L
__681 UH-60L
__686? UH-60L
middle row (8):
_____ AH-64D
_____ UH-60L
_____ AH-64 or UH-60?
_____ UH-60L
_____ AH-64D
_____ AH-64D
__676 UH-60L
__6_5 UH-60L (looked like a 9 or 5?)
eastern row (9):
__682 UH-60L
__680 UH-60L
__651 UH-60L
__641 UH-60L (towed out, see notes above)
__692 UH-60L
_____ UH-60L
_____ UH-60L
_____ UH-60L
_____ AH-64D
(I can imagine that this row headed by a Apache may have looked like Apaches, but from our angle above was quite clear)
No sign of the 8 AH-64D that landed from the east side in two groups 1055 / 1105, were they hangared immediately?
MC-130 was indeed 60217
Additions more than welcome!! Especially the arriving Apaches of course
