Report: Israel Considering Joint Israel-PA Airport

(IsraelNN.com) Israel is considering building an airport in Netanya that would be shared with the Palestinian Authority, Israel Airports Authority (IAA) head Ovadia Eli told Haaretz over the weekend. The airport would be connected to Judea and Samaria by a tunnel.

Eli said the airport would be a “confidence-building measure.” No decisions have been made, he said, but there are “high-level talks” regarding the matter. One of the leaders involved in the talks is Quartet envoy Tony Blair, he said.
