Egyptian AF due to Prague from Texel
This Buffalo is due to depart Berlin Tegal for Prague-Ruzane on 22 May.
It would appear that Koln-Bonn has lost the visits of these airplanes. This is the second DHC-5D to visit Tegal in the last month or so.

Berlin - Tegel 26 - 28 May
Hi,
Over these dates noted 12 x CH-53 of which only 84+32, 84+74, 84+39, 84+17, 84+42, 84+43 lo vis, 84+84, 85+08 recorded. Have conflicting reports of other three.
Also noted 7 x UH-1D and all serials given to me contain conflicts.
Also noted 2 x Bo105 of which 87+76 confirmed.
Noted Tigres 74+05, 74+06 and 74+09, Yak-40 045 Polish Air Force over 26-28th, C-40C 05-0370 USAF on 26th, Falcon 900EX mm62244 31 Stormo AMI on 26th plus 4 x C-160D all conflicting reports.
On 27th-28th Airbus 10+21 and an extra C.160D noted.
Any help with;
further three CH-53s,
the seven Hueys
second Bo105 and
five C.160Ds
all much appreciated.
Saw 10 of the CH-53s when leaving at SXF on 28/5 at TAC Demo accompanied by 3 x Tigres, 2 x UH-1Ds, Bo105 and 2 x NH90s - so any help here will also assist the Tegel detachments.
Kind regards
Rick Ware

On the 31st of May we read the following on Tegel:
AS.532U2: 8201
C-160D: 50.4 +3
Bo.105P: 2x
CH-53G: 8417, 8432, 8435, 8439, 8442, 8474, 8504, 8509 +4
NH.90TTH: 7808
Tiger UHT: 7405, 7406, 7409
UH-1D: 7218, 7276, 7291 +4
Of the CH-53s, only the 8504 is not completely sure. I had written down 8404, but that one was scrapped in 2002 (according Scramble).
During the airdisplay on the ILA we read 4 more CH-53, so I assume these are the 4 missing ones (8443, 8484, 8491, 8508). Also one more UH-1D (7250) and one Bo.105 (8776).

Hello Erwin,
Thanks for reply. It appears that the helos changed a couple of times over the period which was of no surprise and it will take some time to identify exactly when each aircraft was where. Hopefully the full list, possibly in Scramble itself, will have the accumulated information for each day. The information in my previous post will hopefully help someone else as most of Europe seems to have been to either Pratica, ILA or both.
Tegel was busy with the Yak, C-40 Falcon and others over this period so we shall have to see. Thanks again.
Regards
Rick W

And again the monthly DHC-5D is scheduled to arrive at Prague on 19.06.2008 from Tegel. So we can say goodbye to the good old Buffalo at Koln-Bonn. This is the 3rd month in a row the Buffalo lands at Tegel.

Request: Berlin-Tegel 22AUG08
I am looking for the serial of a Luftwaffe Transall, parked on the military ramp at Tegel this morning, 22AUG08 at 09.30lt.
I could not identify it, as I only saw it head-on from the terminal and from my seat on board of a LH A300, during take-off.
Anybody able to help me?
Thanks,
Gerard
