3. and finally fire the sidewinder on this Su-24 which was probably already quite far, out of Turkish air.
Comic books hero "Lucky Lucke" usually manages to do that ; shooting faster then his own shadow.
If some people were not dead, I would conclude with this humour point.
But regarding the situation it is just sensless,
Or maybe we all would beter wait until more information emerge (if it does one day...). I guess there are just too many hypotheses and speculations while almost nothing proven, from both sides, right now.
