Hi folks,
according to the Dutch radio news on 23-01 at 07.00 hours: on the 22th two Schiphol runways were closed for a short period because a dog escaped his owner while boarding. Anyone for explanation of this event? To my humble knowledge animals are not allowed in the passenger cabin. So this could have been a private jet. And I did not dream it, my wife also heard this.
Cheers,
Ab Gobets.

A couple of airlines allow pet in cabin transport. Most of the time dogs are carried in the bagage compartment in a bench and tied down

why is there lock on a door of a shop which is 24/7 open?

That might be so, but this does not explain the event itself. Temporary closing of two runways is not a small thing.

The last news I heard is that the bench with the dog inside felt from the loading belt on the apron. The bench broke into parts on impact and the dog ran off.
