Italian Eurofighters, Danish F-16's & French Alpha Jets due at Leuchars tomorrow 07/08

FLYING OPS AT RAF LEUCHARS ON TUESDAY 7th AUGUST

Tuesday should be a busy flying day at RAF Leuchars. At around 1000 local we are expecting the arrival of 4 Italian Air Force Typhoons from 10 Sqn, based at Gioia del Colle. The Italians are here to train with 6 Sqn until Thursday.

At around 1330 you should also see 2 Danish Air Force F16s and at 1540, 2 French Air Force Alpha Jets, all of whom are at RAF Leuchars for a night stop.

Hi,

Additionally, as Leuchars s getting v busy just a few to be getting on with.
19th September F-16As 15103, 15104, 15107, 15113, 15115 and 15116 all Portuguese AF did short gas'n'go from Keflavik to Monte Real.
An-124 UR-82029 landed dropping off mountains of equipment marked as AG51 and presumed for JW122 for Tornado detachment. This believed JB31, JB32, JB33 and AG51 mix.
20th September Alpha jets E129, E146 & E149 had lunch.
also C160 51+03 and 51+06 landed with further equipment clearly for active aircraft.

Shall advise of JW122 arrivals as and when.

Just watched planeplotter and saw the first P3 arrive at leuchars hes the first p-3 of arrivals of joint warrior at raf leuchars .
LANCER03, LANCER08, LANCER16 are the 3 P-3s.

13 Tornadoes arrived 26/9, 2 more 27/9, one returning 27/9 - all grey scheme bar 45+93
JB32 46+24, 46+35, 46+36, 46+46, 46+49, 46+56, 45+90, 45+93 (green),
JB33 44+02, 44+29, 45+82 (arrived 27/9, 44+79 returned home at 11.41L 27/9)
AG51 44+78, 44+90 (arrived 27/9), 46+22.
