79-1949 Kc-10 USAF WHISTLER95 inbound Abu Dhabi. I presume his wingman whistler94 will also call up approach, reg 84-0192 Kc10 Usaf

Yes indeed , i think its only for heavy aircraft.... was hoping on a Global hawk or so ....

Abu Dhabi is also doing the Approach for Al Dhafra AB , thats why you hear them on that freq . ( just in case you didnt know yet eh )

mmm Whistler 91 in the climb 3000 for 4000 feet. later 13000 makes me wonder ..... so everthing below that altitude wil be on this freq ....

Whistler 91 seems to go to afghanistan area ...

Whistler 89 Descending FL230 for 130 next 124.50 Dhafra arrival ... even more interesting ...

its seems to be busy with tankers in the Area, have a short look out as the Awacses based at the same base use Whislter aswel, but its possble they have a lower callsign number like Whistler 11 or 41 something ....
