Hi Tom,
this is what i have made of them. Funny thing is though, what i really don't get, is that i still can see jagged edges! And this time i really payed a lot of attention not to oversharpen the images. According to andras this is a resizing issue, but my knowledge on that part of CS4 is likely not enough, cause i don't know where i can change this resizing settings......

Re: Tomba's tiger trials
Hi Menno,
These are looking pretty ok, just a halo and a few dust spots here and there..
Greetz,
p.s. I'm installing PS atm so i can check my workflow again and tell you where to look for the right rezize setting.

Re: Tomba's tiger trials
Chaps, it seemed appropriate to move this topic.
What appears jagged is nothing more than the best our horizontally and vertically rastered monitor pixels can do for those slightly tilted lines, I think. Not disturbing to my eye, and not avoidable unless blurred...
Having said that, the last one seems to suffer a bit from an attempt to recover sharpness that is not there (probably more like a resolution issue, original too small for the desired result?).

You're right about moving the topic to this area, we got carried away a little bit. Anyways, thanks for the input. The jagging is something of which i really can't get rid of, even when being very carefull with the sharpen slide switch, so i guess you're right about the fact that it's just a pxl screen issue. the last one is slighty more cropped then the others, for as far as i can remember, so that might be the case......
thanks again for the input

Re: Tomba's tiger trials
Tom...
It's not about the size (well, in most matters that is ). What i don't get is your idea about the wrong size of crop that i use, so explain please. you crop, or you don't crop, that's about it. what i think you mean to say is the resize settings, that is possible, but i still haven't figured that out...
To be honest though (but of course that is very personal), yours looks a little bit to much of artificial, the naturality is gone somehow. And again, why do you always lock up a plane like that. it's frame filling, makes it allmost claustrofobic. IMHO the row of trees makes a little bit more interesting, and you can see the exhaust haze coming out, which gives it a bit extra. I know mine's a lot smaller and yours is much bigger, but it's allways the same frame that we get to see, makes it a little bit boring now and then....that's why i tried something else.
