Ural Appears to retire all Soviet fleet from scheduled svc
As per GDS timetable display on 17JUN09, Ural Airlines appears to have pulled all Soviet-built aircraft from its scheduled service (assuming these aircraft types has been retired). This includes Ilyushin Il86, Antonov AN24, Yakolev YK42 and Tupolev Tu154.
With the retirement of these fleet types, Ural Airlines now mainly operating Airbus A320 series. HOWEVER, some routes still sees Tupolev Tu154 operating. The following are the changes:
Following routes with Antonov An24 are suspended with the aircraft retirement
Ekaterinburg - Nadym
Ekaterinburg - Novy Urengoy
Ekaterinburg - Salekhard
Following routes with Antonov An24 are replaced by Airbus A320
Ekaterinburg - Novosibirsk (which now extends to Khabarovsk)
Ekaterinburg - Samara, 2 weekly (was Daily An24)
Following routes with Yakolev Yak42 are replaced by Tupolev Tu154
Ekaterinburg - Mineralnye Vody
Following routes with Ilyushin Il86 are replaced by Airbus A320
Ekaterinburg - Moscow Domodedovo
Ekaterinburg - Chita
Following routes with Tupolev Tu154 are replaced by Airbus A320
Dushanbe - Irkutsk
Ekaterinburg - Adler/Sochi
Ekaterinburg - Baku
Ekaterinburg - Chita
Ekaterinburg - Irkutsk - Vladivostok
Ekaterinburg - Moscow Domodedovo
Ekaterinburg - Yakutsk
The following routes are still operated by Tupolev Tu154
2 weekly Ekaterinburg - Krasnodar
2 weekly Ekaterinburg - Mineralnye Vody
1 weekly Ekaterinburg - Norilsk (along with 1 weekly A320)
5 weekly Moscow Domodedovo - Kulyab

IL86 and Tu-154 can still be used for charter department as Ural Airlines serves several touristic destinations.

They are still using the Il-86 for charter flights but for how long ? All Il-86's will soon be grounded forever i think.
