Re: Ramstein 23-08 + Req
I can confirm that one. It was one of the few I could read off right before night fell over the airbase. Also departed that evening was Evergreen's N482EV and an unread Atlas B747.Theo03 wrote:

Re:
The following were also noted around 2045 until 2130, but already mentioned in your post:
C-17s 02-1101, 02-1111, 03-3113 and departing 05-5144 (+ at least 5 more)
C-5s 69-0022 and 87-0034 (+4 more)
I also noted a white US Navy C-40, which is probably the one you mentioned (165831).
Kind regards,
Kees

Two of your C-5s were:

87-0034 departed during afternoon to return with tech problems after that.

I do miss 86-0017 who flew to Ramstein at 24th Aug as RCH309Two of your C-5s were:
68-0224 + 85-0003
Heard this one on 128.350 > 131.080 > 135.350 [355.800]
Did not see however a report of 85-0003 flying over The Netherlands, Neither a SBS-1 log over Europe from yesterday.
RCH5003 was logged however in USA at Aug 23rd as 86-0017.
Not sure if 85-0003 is a Mk1 Eyeball sighting or from flightplan, please advise?

Guess so!joost thats what happen when you spott too much via SBS-1
Please confirm 85-0003 was RCH309? Then it is a miscode (As I only type only c/s heard by myself other wise I would post (SBS-1) behind it.
Monitored scanners all day yesterday and no RCH5003 heard, must have flown southern route then.
Have seen picture of 85-0003 in the meantime on RS so I am confinced!
Grtz
