Trying to plan my trip to madrid for the flypast.
saw a post saying go to bernabau stadium but looking on google street maps looks built up with not a lot of views.
anyone got any ideas of other vantage points. lat/long would be useful.
i looked on fr24 for last year so have a rough idea of routing. time was 09:30z last time also.
also will have a car so can travel.

Tomorrow will see the first repetition for this parade.
The road next to Stade Bernabeu is on a slope, so view is quite okay, if you go uphill far enough

Hi all. Any info about AV-8 Matador participation in upcoming flypast and rehearsals?
Re: Madrid flypast 12/10/23
2nd rehearsal this morning with a few fast jets:
Two practice "defiles" today at 10.45 & 11.15 with 6 Eurofighters (5 in the second), 3 x F-18, 1 x F-5, 1 x AV-8/Matador, 1 x PC21 & a C101 in Patrouilla colours plus another as weather bird. Also selection of transports & helicopters. Log to follow (in time). Expect more of the same next Thursday.
Good vantage point just North of the Atocha station at the gate of the fallen angel (well, nobody's perfect).

Hello Starman, I assume the aircraft were flying from south to north?Starman wrote: ↑04 Oct 2023, 16:18 2nd rehearsal this morning with a few fast jets:
