Marines stand up 2nd F-35C squadron at Miramar.

VMFA-311 Tomcatters are the latest F-35C squadron, after VFA-125 (RAG), VFA-147, VMFA-314 and VFA-97. The Tomcatters dates back to WWII, and most recently flew Harriers.

5 Lakenheath F-35's are to be delivered with a departure from NAS FW today but that did not happen. Perhaps tomorrow. AF-360/364 I imagine. But that is a wild guess.

AF-381, 20-5621/WI "115 OG" first flight May 2, 2023.

And the LN birds departed for delivery. Not positive how many. They were scheduled for Bangor, ME but diverted to Syracuse, NY as the tanker had issues. Delivery to LN should be Wednesday.
