BOEING FIELD (KBFI) (2022)

Post by tally »

Hello,

Noted the following at Boeing Field on May 31st, 2022.

E-767 AWACS 602 Hikotai
74-3503

KC-46A at Boeing
19-46068 as "56068"
19-46070 as "56070"

P-8A at Boeing
167954/954 VX-20
170013/013 nmks

And on June 2, 2022 in addition to the above the following:

KC-46A 916 ARW, 77 ARS
19-46066 as "56066" "Backy 41"

C-17A 452 AMW rd/or "March"
05-5142

I am not positive what is going on with the KC-46A. The later models seem to deliver with FY15 tail numbers rather FY19 or FY20.

Cheers,

Tally.

Hi Tally,

These last two are the other way round. N462KC is 11-46004 and N464KC is 11-46002. I know both versions appear on the web, but this should be correct. And I not only base that on Scramble database, but I myself read off N462KC as VH004 on the nose wheel door earlier this year (log still to follow....)

In all the years I have noted these at Boeing Field I have never seen them active and they are always parked behind the blast shields.

Thank you for the corrections.

Noted the same on Dec 9th.

The P-8A at the river site was 170018.
KC-46A at the north end was N464KC (11-46002).
KC-46A 20-46073 delivered as Pudgy 11 to McGuire.
And the KC-135R and C-32A both left while I was at McChord.

Tally.
