Hi All,
This morning just before 10:00 local a C-17A flew eastwards over my house in England. From my SBS the callsign was RCH802 and the Hex was AE119C. Apparently this could have been either 03-3119 or 03-3126.
Did this C-17 come to Ramstein, please, & if so can anyone tell me what the serial was? Thanks for any help
Regards
David

Just to complicate matters further, a post in a Ramstein facebook group says RCH802 was 03-3117 of the 172nd AW / MS ANG !

There is a C-17 using hex AE119C over Slovakia, callsign BNDGE10, departed Al Udeid 04:14. presumably headed for Ramstein. Again I would love to know its serial if any weekend visitors get a chance to see it, please.
The Runway26 facebook group listed it as 03-3117 in their movements post for yesterday (dep 20:46 for Al Udeid as RCH802)
Thanks very much

Re: REQ: RCH802, C-17A using hex AE119C on 25th March 2021
I don't suppose this is of much interest to anyone but me, but just to finish off, I note that the C-17A using hex AE119C that returned to Ramstein yesterday morning from Al Udeid as BNDGE10 was reported on Flugzeugforum & the Runway26 facebook group as 03-3119. I presume this is the one I saw on Thursday as RCH802.
FR24 has had the other C-17A using the same hex (?03-3126) flying Charleston, SC to San Juan. Puerto Rico, to Port-au-Prince, Haiti, & back to San Juan as RCH551 in the last couple of days.
I am sure no reminder is needed but please don't place 100% faith in flight trackers & databases, whether commercial or private!

AE119C has been discussed previously and it will always be tricky to attach a number to it so not really worth it to put too much effort into it. 03-3119 and 03-2126 both use AE119C for quite a while.David Moore wrote: ↑28 Mar 2021, 11:44 I don't suppose this is of much interest to anyone but me, but just to finish off, I note that the C-17A using hex AE119C that returned to Ramstein yesterday morning from Al Udeid as BNDGE10 was reported on Flugzeugforum & the Runway26 facebook group as 03-3119. They don’t use the same HEX, but the databases use two registrations for it. 03-3126 use HEX AE1237 at the momentArjenp wrote: ↑28 Mar 2021, 12:28AE119C has been discussed previously and it will always be tricky to attach a number to it so not really worth it to put too much effort into it. Re: REQ: RCH802, C-17A using hex AE119C on 25th March 2021
03-3126 is indeed HEX AE1237.
03-3126 using miscode AE119C in use by C-17 03-3119.
If 03-3126 is transmitting miscode AE119C ADSB, FR24 and so on is showing 03-3319.
The only problem is you do not know when '03-3126' is transmitting the miscode.
