Sion (airshow) 4 - 21 September

Sion (airshow) 4 - 21 September

because of work and an airshow it was going to be a late holiday this year. Never been to the Sion airshow, but the number of planes was huge. On arrivals day we stood on finals 25. During the show we were at the church of Pravidondaz. This altitude equals down wind 25 for the demo flights, as shown below.

The first arrival for the show after PdS which came from KeeBee:

After picking up the equipment it needed on departure 25 to climb to Martigny back overhead the field to Brig followed by overhead the field to fly overhead Martigny and overhead the Lake of Geneva into Berne and Zürich climb out of the mountains. A real slow climber this An-26

4x C-27 were at Sion, of which one was a EC-27. On departure 25 it needed to climb to Martigny back overhead the field to climb out of the mountains. Support for:

This one went tec on Thursday and left for home, to return back on Saturday.

This Helvetic made on Saturday and on Sunday a flyby together with the PdS.

On the 21st there were the following attendencees at Sion, the Hungarian came from France, the special painted Jordanian arrived 2 days earlier and the regular painted arrived that morning. The Jordanian came to bring back home the Falcons EA300's

Hardly ever seen at Meiringen or at Sion by myself, but on the 21st 3 PC-9s came in. 2 were parked inside the hangar.

Very nice! good to see the different angles.
Too bad this airfield will be left by the fighters from the Suisse AF.
