Airbus is to conduct the maiden flight of its re-engined A320neo jet on 25 September.

The test aircraft, fitted with Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines, will depart from Toulouse at 10:30

Airbus chief operating officer for customers John Leahy confirmed the plan at the ISTAT conference in Istanbul, adding that the flight was subject to good weather conditions.

Friday is 26th, so its going to happen on Thursday.
