Re: EHEH 17-07-2013 MIL
Someone posted a question about the most likely type of arrival of the helicopters, but that post is gone now?
Anyway, helicopters usually come in via the regular runway arrivals. Runway 03 is in use at this time, which is the exact opposite of the direction they're coming from. So they may opt for a runway 21 approach, which, if traffic permits, may just be allowed by ATC. So, bring a scanner if you have one, which will help you determine five-or-so minutes in advance what the helicopters will do.
Parking will probably be at apron East.
Good luck and have fun!

The RC-12's actual time of missed approach: 0830LT. Now IFR to Büchel via MILGI, switching to Dutchmil Info 132.350.

'FNF 163' and 'FNF 164' just landed at Eindhoven, coming in via the East, overhead the city on right hand downwind to RWY03. Parking is Mil East. No info on departuretime, but exit to UK airspace will be inbound NAVPI...strangely enough, this will possibly take them over a big part of NL again, on a northwesterly heading. So, keep eyes open today if you live between Eindhoven and MVK Valkenburg. No guarantees, 'cause plans change and headings can also change halfway.
Good luck.
Stephan
