Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

I think there is room enough at the base: just put the 32nd TFS aircraft in front of the shelters. Then you spread the visitors more over the terrain, they walk and work on their condition and we all can enjoy the aircraft for many more years. I am most willing to wash them once a year.

Someone from the museum told me the thing could barely stand on it's landing gear. It is in very bad shape.alpha kilo 61 wrote:f102 will be stay outside the building, Heymans gave information about the collection what they want to show!

I get really sad to see in what condition the SAR H-20 seems to be.
Re: Open/Closed Depot Day 6-4 Soesterberg
I haven't seen it for real, but judging by the picture it doesn't look so bad, does it? Just a few flat tires and some dust?I get really sad to see in what condition the SAR H-20 seems to be.
@ Leeuwarden: nice b&w shots, pls show more if you have any!

Non sense!!! Both F-100 and F-102 are marked for short term storage and finally to be scrapped, unless there is another party who want it for it's collection (read: museum). Last year there was a offer to restore some parts for the F-100, but MLM refused that because the F-100 "no longer fits into the collection". Clear to me.
