Lechfeld ETSL MIL - Last Call
Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Lechfeld ETSL MIL - Last Call
Cheers
JaboG32 will be disbanded at the end of this month.
Today was the last public opportunity to take some photographs from the "Last Call" aircraft 46+45, which has been painted especially for this sad occasion.
Hope you enjoy the photos anyway.....

46+45 will get the ASSTA3 upgrade in June.
Re: Lechfeld ETSL MIL - Last Call
Very nice colors, good job.
Sorry, I didn't know about closure of Lechfeld/JBG32.
Will both squadrons be desbanded or move somewhere else? like Buchel or Jagel...
Thanks

Re: Lechfeld ETSL MIL - Last Call
321 and 322 will indeed be disbanded. With this, the GAF will loose one of its Tiger squadrons.
However, yesterday it was announced that JG74, flying from Neuburg with the Eurofighter, will adopt the tiger traditions of 321 squadron and transform itself into a "new" tiger squadron.
Some hurdles will need to be taken though in order to become a full member.
The two JG74 squadrons will be named "bavarian tigers".
