With the ever growing amount of static display aircraft around the U.S.A. i would like to invite everybody to post their finding under this post , would be very nice to see what's all on static across the U.S. because it would be near impossible to capture them , although i am trying

It's a C-135, not a 707 (Technically you could call it a 717, but that designation is not commonly used for C-135's).js51672 wrote:Very nice B707 at Ellington!

That one's a very odd mix... It's an ex-US Navy F-4B made to look like a USAF F-4D (nose), but retaining the little bulge on the tip of the tail and the mid-fuselage antenna. And, it has the exhaust feathers of a J-79-type that was never fitted on neither the 'B nor 'D-model. That's what I call creative preserving!Flanker wrote:Lackland AFB
Its serial is also fake (64-9421 or 49-0421 or whatever is was meant to represent).
