Saudi Hawks rumours

On some boards there is a rumour that the Saudi Hawks will come to Koksijde this year.
Who knows more about this?

If this is true, Koksijde will be one of the main shows of 2011 with the Thunderbirds allready in the show.

They will participate in 3 Airshows in West-Europe.

They come to the Airpower at Zeltweg, Koksijde and Fairford!!

I just took a look at their website and found a contactform, I asked them about the rumours about a visit to Koksijde......they answered that they will visit Koksijde but also Airpower and RIAT.
About the tea......that's not true, I don't drink tea......

This only confirms that - so far - they will not vist RIAT 2011, it doesn't mention a word about Saudi Hawks visiting Koksijde zo seems this message:

This only confirms that - so far - they will not vist RIAT 2011

Or it only confirms nothing is official yet, not saying they will come, not saying they will not come. It certainly doesn´t say anything about Koksijde, so also certainly not saying the other posted message is nonsense or not.

In other words, all are just rumours and nothing more than that as of yet.

I think the Saudi Hawks will be a highlight to any airshow in Europe, and as most airshows need as much visitors as possible to earn some money, I guess that if they will come, it will be confirmed soon. So let's wait until the next official announcements from Zeltweg, Koksijde or the Riat... As long as there is no official confirmation from these airshows, I think they won't show up, so let's hope there will be confirmations soon...

The European Airshow Convention will be held next weekend... (around the 25th) and i guess after that alot more will be known what's on which airshow after this convention...

Why can't people have some patience???? Dutch Spotting seems to be comparable to Sinterklaas ATM... To much to soon and to eager to know everything... Please have some patience!!!!

As a sidenote, I dare to dispute the statement that the Saudi Hawks could increase visitor numbers at airshows. Depending on what kind of airshow (RIAT being the exception), for a lot of people they're probably a bunch of Hawks, which are green instead of red
