Luchtmachtdagen Gilze Rijen 2010
Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Stunning shots. Congrats. You fully exploit the possibilities offered by your lenses (I wish I could afford ). Since you look like a subject matter expert, is Capture One better than Camera Raw for editing ?

Very well done! Difficult to say which I like most, but that Danish F-16 is really stunning!

Doesn't make a difference. Try both (free trials are available), pick whichever fits you best. These are slightly different workflow concepts, Camera Raw is a bit more "oldskool", but both can produce stunning imagesKatabatik wrote:Since you look like a subject matter expert, is Capture One better than Camera Raw for editing ?
Okidoki, so round two FLARE button of the Danish pilot still locked in the "on" position

... also one small complaint Saturday evening, show is over, just few last maniacs trying to catch some last shots. Suddenly, few last rays of light between the clouds, Orange Lion beautifully lit by it. Everyone rushes there, lining up orderly against the barriers, to get a nice photo from the distance (70-200 telephoto was just perfect). At the same time a couple (with some plugs I guess ) enters the ground and starts dancing around the plane, chatting with the crew, not allowing any single clean photo for the people standing 50m away, keeping their lenses up with 100% clear intentions...
By the time they were done, the sun was over as well thankyouverymuch
On the positive side: spotter day was just perfect! Or should I say: just a normal Dutch spotter day
