(notes: as the date of the down-scaled Koksijde Airshow coincidenced with the flying phase of another TLP course at Florennes, I opted for combining these two rather small events in one journey, thereby saving tive-time, fuel and energy. Unfortunately, the weather forecasted for the two days promised to be influenced by humid air and low clouds.
Indeed, when arriving at Koksijde at early morning, murky skies and even some drizzles looked not like the beginning of a successful day. Luckily, the weather slowly improved during the day and allowed for aircraft arrivals to take place. As expected, highlights were few and far between, but two based Sea Kings, five Belgian F-16s including two examples featuring special coloured tails, two C-130s, two SF-260s, two Alpha Jets, two A.109s and a pair of Italian Tornados made up for a nice log.
Impressive arrivals were provided by a trio of Mirage 2000s performing a joined aerobatic display before landing, and by four additional SF.260 which showed a full display before joining the flightline. Another highlight of the day was a joint aerial demonstration of a Belgian F-16s and a French Mirage. A very nice addition were three Royal Navy Sea Kings surprisingly staging through here on their way from the UK to Germany ...)

Hello,

Today (Tuesday 7 October) Bluebird 56 visited Koksijde. I think this should be a RNLAF alouette III, correct me if I'm wrong. Does anybody has a registration of this one please?

Hello,

Thanks for the heads-up. I couldn't go to Koksijde, but I did hear diamond20 going to Koksijde this noon. I don't know if the alpha jet's actually went to Koksijde. Does anybody knows which PC-7 was Diamond20?
