Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

EHGR 12-09-2007, THG KLu and German Bo-105P
Today i had a very good photo opportunity at EHGR during the excersize, here are my photo's, enjoy them
The Cougars Arrived first from EHSB
5 Minutes later the Chinooks Arrived from EHSB
Then the 2 Bo-105P's left; which was my main objective
And finally some local apache's on the runway
After line up on the runway the whole formation left in a big mass take-off
Hope you liked my pics, any comments are welcome

Thanxs for all your reactions,
In my opinion Gilze is the most beautiful field in holland to shoot pictures, but you have to know when the activities take place like for example this excersize. I also went to the north side of the 28 which normally isn't standard on this location due to the bad light. But in the morning hours (from 9 to 11) the light is coming from the east, sow the light on the hawkeye platform is perfect

@Remco, i used for the platform shots about 300 - 400mm and on the runway and the taxitrack about 200 - 300mm
@sfeyenoord1, i used the EOS30D and an canon EF 100-400mm lens
@Guinness, Gilze was better, in the late afternoon the light was in a bad position, and the taxi-track was almost unreachable. I missed the herc, but i allready had the Bo-105's at gilze, you can't have them all
