Hi!
After my visit to Luton, I drove to my hotel at Heathrow, which was the Renaissance Hotel. I choose a runway view room to have a front row seat on the action on runway 27R.
The weather was ==censored== but still some photo's could be taken of some of the more interesting visitors, which had quite an Asian-theme!
1. Coming in during a downpour was this great special liveried Capital Airlines A330-200 B-8981:

2. Finally catching my first Vistara plane in the form of B787-9 VT-TSE:

3. This Hainan B787-9 B-6998 features an all-red livery, which is a left-over from a special livery the plane had:

4. Shenzhen Airlines A330-300 B-1072 was also a new one:

5. As was this Tianjin Airlines A330-200 B-8959:

And then after an Air China A350-900, it became too dark, which meant photography was over.
The next day, I began at the hotel and later moved to the approach of runway 27L. Normally, Heathrow has a runway alternation scheme, which means when they are one the 27s, they use one runway for arrivals until 15:00 and then switch. However, due to the very strong winds on this day, they kept on 27L for arrivals the whole day.
Anyway, on this day there wasn't really anything special but as my last visit to LHR was quite some years ago, it was a good opportunity to catch up with the new aircraft in the fleets of BA and Virgin.
1. JetBlue is connecting Heathrow with Boston and New York with their A321-200NXs, like this N4062J:

2. Aer Lingus is using the full range of their A321-200NXs between Dublin and London, with EI-LRB seen here on finals:

3. A few of the newer kids on the block for me, the A350-1000s of BA like this G-XWBH:

4. Virgin A330-900s like this G-VLDY:

5. And Virgin A350-1000s like this G-VDOT:

6. A330-800s are rare, so this Kuwait 9K-API was lovely!

7. I'm still not sure of the livery of MEA, especially the tree on the tail...

8. Happy with catching my very first B787-9 of WestJet in the form of this C-GUDO, despite them flying to Amsterdam in the past:

9. Always good to see the 'roo!

10. Loganair is a nice addition in the mix, operating to LHR with ERJ145s and the ATR, like this G-LMTC:

11. Qatar Executive G650ER A7-CGL:

12. Emirates A380s are nothing special and there are many flights during the day. However, due to the strong winds, three of them did go-arounds while I was there. This A6-EOW, however, did two go-arounds and then even diverted to Glasgow! Due to this, it was even for a while the most tracked plane on Flightradar24!

13. My final photo I share is this pretty Gulf Air B787-9 A9C-FC:
