Re: REQ F-84 Cockpit MLM
Must be a new display, as it's not in the emoos (yet)..
Love the sign on the dashboard with the topside showing: "this side must NOT face up"

Re: REQ F-84 Cockpit MLM
Thanks Ron, seems we ran into a minor flaw in the EMOOS 2011 then as P-230 nor parts thereof are mentioned to be present at the MLM... (and don't recall having seen it in my previous visits as well) Or perhaps this is just a request based on an old picture? Erwin, when did you take thispicture?HUD wrote:This cockpit is part of the expo "Jachtvliegers" and opened in September 2005...

Re: REQ F-84 Cockpit MLM
P-230 is/was a long time resident of the MLM; it used to be parked out on the lawn to the right of the road entering the MLM (as were the Catalina and the Lockheed 12). However, in those days, it was still in one piece...

P-230 is mentioned in EMOOS 2011 as being in the MLM museum.Polleke_NL wrote:Thanks Ron, seems we ran into a minor flaw in the EMOOS 2011 then as P-230 nor parts thereof are mentioned to be present at the MLM... Re: REQ F-84 Cockpit MLM
There is also another F-84F cokpit to be found on Kamp van Zeist. In the Rambaldo hall ( building 14 ) there is a item on flight controls.
The tail and wing are from F-84E K-8, the seat is from a T-33 and the cockpit, or a large part of it is in fact from a unknown F-84F.
