i have a uniden 3500xlt and i want to plug an audio cable into the headphone jack and into my laptops headphone jack so then i can stream my scanner audio over the internet has anyone any ideas how, i am trying to get on a website called proscan i will give all the links here.

the radio feed files once opened fried my tiny mind i have no clue what there on about lol i am very novice.

Just got some scanners online using http://www.nch.com.au/streaming/index.html. Could you give that software a try?
Please let me know if you run into any kind of trouble. Next week I'm able to help you with a teamviewer session if necessary.

I would start by plugging it into the microphone jack of your computer, rather than into the headphone jack...
