Did they use tipp-ex to erase "Slovakian" and it's former reg number?Nlspot2003 wrote: [pic]

Very nice head-on shots MarkCantPark
Already a regular.....
Well almost.....
Unbelievable how people just park their car anywhere and then get annoyed when the KMar sends them away.

Another nail to the coffin of a spotting location...Thermal wrote:Unbelievable how people just park their car anywhere and then get annoyed when the KMar sends them away.
Look at the traffic sign in the middle of the photo. Are these people blind, ignorant or just plain stupid? Do they even have the right to have a driving licence, if they don't know the meaning of basic traffic signs?
They should all get fined. Don't send them away, give them a fine! And a big one too!

I guess almost none of them were real spotters then anyway, since most of us want to preserve our spotting locations
Did anyone take a pic of EasyJet A320 G-EZTT landing on the Polderbaan at 20:57? I would greatly appreciate that

Indeed hard to believe. On the other hand, I don't blame them that much. The closure of the Kaagbaan runway viewing spot has forced people to move elsewhere. I suppose there aren't enough parking spaces near the Kaagbaan runway anymore.Thermal wrote:Unbelievable how people just park their car anywhere and then get annoyed when the KMar sends them away.
Airplanes attract people. If an airport wants to avoid problems like this the manangement should consider providing visitors with adequate viewing locations. What's wrong with reopening the Kaagbaan runway spot? As far as I know nothing has been build on that site so far. It certainly would save the (military) police a lot of valuable time and effort.Harry Spotter wrote:They should all get fined. Don't send them away, give them a fine! And a big one too!

Re: Schiphol Amsterdam (EHAM/SPL) 05-08-2012 (CIV)
I don't really care if they are fined or not, if this ignorance stays than I can imgaine that closing this road for non essential traffic is a reality. Forcing us to move again.
Apart from the spotters point of view it is also a safety hazard. There is lot of heavy trucks coming over that road going and coming from the various cargo buildings adjacent to the Sierra platform. I noticed this again last sunday. So the risk of an accident is quite big with that many cars parked that close to the road. Not to mention all the kids runnig around.
I think it is inaccessible apart from going through one of the roads that lead to the cargo terminal. And on a good sunday you would get quite some traffic jams which is ofcourse not good for all the truckers.
But back to topic.
