Crash USAF C-130H 1july 2012

One of the MAFFS C-130s crashed 1st July 2012 near Edgemont, South Dakota
First reports are that the three occupants were brought to hospital.
At the moment of the Crash, bot 145th AW (NC ANG) and 153rd AW (WY ANG) deployed two C-130Hs to Cheyenne.

The aircraft involved is probably C-130H 92-1454 from the 156th AS / NC ANG, operating as "MAFFS-7". It was flying on the White Draw Fire in South Dakota, and according to unconfirmed sources it had a crew of four. At least three crew members survived the initial crash and were rushed to hospital by helicopter, and their current situation is yet unknown.

MAFFS 7 is C-130H 93-1458 from 156 AS.

C-130H-2 93-1458 was at Ramstein (ETAR) on 21-1-2012.
It flew with 145AW/NC ANG.

'1454' was MAFFS 7 last year. Photo proof seen from July 3rd, 2011.

www.C-130Hercules.net reports the crash airplane as 93-1458 coded 7.
