Creil airbase 22 June 2012
On Friday the 22nd of June, Panoravia was invited to visit the French Airforce's Creil Airbase.
During this visit, where our hosts understood exactly what we wanted, almost everything was possible.
Unfortunately, the sun that we ordered did not really arrive on time. Nevertheless some nice pictures could be made.
Please find an impression below, I hope you like them.

Interesting photos from a rarely visited base.
Did you see or photograph the preserved CM.170 please? It has not yet been identified!

Yes, I believe it's 408. I will post a picture of it tonight.
Re: Creil airbase 22 June 2012
It is 401. I checked the c/n myself last week.
Also on base where a Cap 10 with code VT and an Alouette 2, both in a hangar.

Indeed, there will not be many occasions where three CN-235s are simultanuously started up and taxied...GoldenEagle wrote:Photo 6 is quite impressive!

It was a practice flight for the 14 July parade.Stratofreighter wrote:Indeed, there will not be many occasions where three CN-235s are simultanuously started up and taxied...GoldenEagle wrote:Photo 6 is quite impressive!

Excellent photographs. Of the CN235's present on Friday ( 9 a/c ?) did any of the a/c leave that day or were scheduled to leave ?

Re: Creil airbase 22 June 2012
As far as I know, only local flights were scheduled for that day. We did leave the base around 1 PM though, so no idea what happened in the afternoon. I believe we saw 12 CASAs in total.
