Re: Rheine-Bentlage (ETHE) 2012
Good afternoon,
Noted Wednesday the 24th from 14.30 till 15.30:
84+22 CH-53G MTHR15 outside, at platform
84+84 CH-53G MTHR15 inside opened hangar
Unfortunately no flying activities...........
In the South-West corner of the airfield (only reachable from the narrow road leading along the west-side) some Lehwerkstatt aircraft were outside,
all in front of hangar 15:
98+35 Fiat G91R/3 no cockpit
(80+12) Bo105M no rotors
(98+35) FWP149D in white-blue c/s as "D-EABW", pristine condition
furthermore the dump just west of hangar 15 stills contains:
(77+18) Alouette II
Didn't check if Do27B-5 56+86 is still dumped at the back of the small building, close to the dumped Alouette 2
At the main gate can be found:
75+32 Alouette II
Is F104G "DF+101" (22+59) actually visible from the main gate ? Didn't look for it, as I saw it before at the Rheine-General Wever barracks.
Looking at Google Earth I have my doubts if it can be seen from outside (or maybe just)........
Last but not least:
at the main gate used to be H-34G 80+35, l/n Apr08 (EMOOS2011) or Aug08 (EuroDemobbed)
At the internet several pictures taken July2011 show the Choctaw in a sorry state "somewhere" at the airfield........
regards,
Remco
