So the story goes on, the USCG C-17A is stil on the deck I asume.

I'm actually wondering if they're gonna make a testflight before final departure. It's taking so long to fix it...

It seems to me a normal procedure after a repair like this. It's a long way over water with one engine.

C102 taxiet nu uit naar RWY24

edit airborne 09.15, climbing Fl50 en over naar Amsterdam 125.750, lijkt niet echt op een testvlucht, meer zo snel mogelijk naar huis toe.

09.30 op Fl 300 boven de Engelse kust, komt dus niet meer terug :(

Test flights are not even neccessary after an engine change on (twin-engine) commercial airliners!

Correct! Destination KDCA (Washington/National).

Uhm side note, a repair to one of the engines is checked with a test run (quick, easier & saves money); testflights only occur if repairs are made to primary flight controls :wink:
