Nieuwe Heldair in september 2012

Den Helder – De derde editie van Heldair Show Maritiem vindt plaats op 15 september 2012. Dat heeft Den Helder Airport laten weten.

Heldair Show Maritiem is de gezamenlijke open dag van Den Helder Airport en Maritiem Vliegkamp De Kooy. Tijdens dit unieke evenement kunnen jong en oud weer genieten van een wervelende airshow, demonstraties, rondvluchten, simulators, tentoonstellingen, een airmarkt en nog veel meer.

De gezamenlijke open dag werd voor het eerst gehouden in 2007 en de laatste editie vond plaats in 2009, toen meer dan 35.000 bezoekers het vliegveld wisten te vinden.

The next edition of Heldair will be on september 15th accoring to Den Helder Airport.
Heldair is a joint show of Den Helder Aiport and Maritime Airport de Kooy.

That's the date I was afraid for (having seen Sanicole's dates). Clashing with ILA and comparing previous editions of those two...

Unless the transfer from Navy to Air Force and the absence of the Airforcedays in 2012 would mean this will get BAD involved, I think I'll head east that day. Although if the new taxitrack will be used like Zeltweg and not as Volkel, I might reverse that feeling.

Not difficult but challenging, you just have to time your shots right.

As you can see, after 16:00 the sun gets to the side of you.

An email from Den Helder Airport about their latest newsletter indicates that the gates will close by 16.30 LT. I think by 16.00 there won't be much flying anymore, except some aircraft leaving for home, which can easily be photographed (if found necessary) from the normal spots on the airfieldguide.
