Quids91 & 92 launch for ar with B1-Bombers

Post by TONKACRAZIE22 »

Tonight i had the great radio comms for both USAF 63-7979 KC-135r Quid91 & 62-3551 KC-135r QUID92, who were flying out over the west coast of ireland to AR with some United States Air Force B1-B's whom i guess are off to libya. Has anybody the serials for the B1's they were on both HF and UHF The B1's were RAMA71 Flight and could be heard at liveatc.net and Global Tuners websites. :) :) :)

QUID's were heard <313.550> <360.825> While RAMA's were on 08891.0 (Credit Steve Foster)
Also QUID called RAMA on 06761.0 (Credit Jonjo Robb)
They are enroute OTBH (Credit Coronet)

Most likely we can expect a RAMA 8x flight in the near future on return to Conus

I saw this posting in the MillRadioComms yahoogroup:

RAMA71 x2 B-1B is inbound to OTBH, NOT the US. When they were checking in with CYYT, they were going eastbound, not westbound.
AE05A8 QUID92 62-3551 KC-135R USAFE | 100ARW | 351ARS [EGUN] and AE07BF QUID91 63-7979 KC-135R USAFE | 100ARW | 351ARS [EGUN] are currently airborne waiting to receive them west of the UK.
