Saturdaty the 20th some W&R was logged in Germany.

Bad Laer (NI)
D-ABAH DC-6
In fact the oldest DC-6 preserved around the globe !
Preserved southside of the village, hard to miss........

Lintel (NW)
23+93 MiG-21U-600 ex 276 NVA
Still preserved outside with Werbestudios Ziedler at the Nickelstrasse.

Detmold (NW)
Just for the record: at this former British Army base no preserved aircraft are present.......
The former hangars at the North side are nowadays part of an industrial estate, while at
the South side a small civil area soldiers on at this airfield.

Herford (NW)
unknown Mill MI-1
This helicopter is in fake dark grey colours preserved at the parking place
of the MARTa art museum in this city close to Bielefeld.
Absolutely no markings or text are visible, anybody for it's ID ??

Minden (NW)
(D-ACUG) N2501D
Still easily visible from the car park at Potts Park

Bad Oeynhausen (NW)
The now defunct Motortechnica Museum owned some scrap ready aircraft.
In front of the former museum building are, beside vehicles, a steam train etc etc:
(23+48) MIG-21MF-75 in white/DDR flag c/s with fake serial "22+28"
(93+39) Mill Mi8PS blue/white c/s, without serial
D-EHIT Piaggio P149D
D-IBIB Rockwell RC690
On the other side of the road several aircraft and armoured vehicles are literally dumped:
20+58 MiG-23UB
25+50 Su-22UM-3K
D-EIKW Do27A-1 camouflaged
970 Mill Mi 8PS orange/blue c/s
(22+44) MiG-21SPS fake brown c/s with fake serial "353"
D-5804 TF-104G "children" c/s still applied (was a 90's project at the MLM !)

Porta Westfalica/Groser Wesenbogen (NW)
A few oldies were logged at this airfield;
OE-APS Bücker Bü131 Jungmann (new built by Tatra, mf 2000)
D-EBFJ Piper J3C-90 Super Cub (1952 built, no military background)
N-131BK Bücker Bü131 Jungmann ex E.3B-597. In grey 1936 colours (Olympic rings in tail) as "D-3150"
This last one is also based at this airfield (addition to EMOOS2011)

Hi Andy,

Thanks for the addition of the background of the ex KLu Piper, wasn't aware of this.
BTW: it's also based at Porta Westfalica, so an addition to EMOOS2011 for this case as well.
Nobody around (especially maybe the -ex-mil spotters?) for the ID of the Mill 1 in Herford ?!?
