Hi all,
While clearing out some cupboards I came across some old logbooks, short trip through memory lane .
Some partial logs I made back in the day have never been filled in and I am now starting to find some answers. One is for an F-14 of VX-9 which I saw at Point Mugu late September 1997. It was the only thing flying that day apart from a Convair 580 of Renown Aviation but unfortunately I have never traced the BuNo of this Tomcat. Now my hope is that someone might fill in the blank for me!
It concerns VX-9 F-14 with modex XF-251. The closest I have come to its identity is F-14D 163414, which was noted with this modex a year later.
So if you can help me with this one, it will be well appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Richard.
