Seen at 18th March during transfer (1230-1830lt). Spotting was done from terminal 1 & 2. Both are connected so just a bit of walking.

Re: Sao Paolo-Guarulhos (GRU/SBGR) - 2011
Another visit to Sao Paulo-Guarulhos was done on 05th May between 1330-1730lt.
This time spotting was done landside. Best viewing area is in Wing D. Search for the MacDonalds (where you also can see some action) and then go up one level. There is a viewing area, where local people also like to watch. No seats unfortunately and windows are very dirty but no problem spotting from here.
Landings and take offs were from 27R. Around 16.00 lt they started to use 27R for take offs and 27L for landings (peak hour). You can not miss the aircraft from the viewing area as all aircraft need to taxi by from the other terminals. The view from here:

Since my last visit 6 weeks before, three aircraft were still on the longterm parking area: TAF 727 was now identified as PR-MTK, plus one Total 727 and one Beta DC-8-73 (PP-BEL?). Their fuselages are parked away from the terminal so impossible to read off.
