In january we booked to travel to Japan, obviously before the tragic events that struck the Islands in March
Both the government and British Airways say it is safe to travel there, we either have to throw away the tickets, or take the trip on the 21st May.
We have not planned to travel further North than Hyakuri, (the last thing all the relief workers need is tourists getting in the way) but wondered has the flying been disrupted much?
Our plan includes, Hyakuri, Atsugi, Gifu, Hamamatsu, Iruma, Tsuiki, Nyutabaru, Komaki and Akeno. Is there anyone with any news?

Re: Post Tsunami flying?
Looking at various Japanese blogs, there is flying activity, however hard to tell if movements are again at the pre tsunami level. Atsugi and Utsunomiya seem to have extra helicopter movements, all related to the disaster.

Iwakuni appears to be normal for US flying going by the latest reports.
There appears to be extra VMGR-152 KC-130J visitors here.
