Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

EHGG - Groningen/Eelde - 08-04-2011
Hello everyone!!
Long time no post, but I think it is time again. Had a wonderful few hours at Eelde during my break of school
Low approach!
One of my favorites of the day. You don't see these Bonanza's very often.
I hope you liked um!

What Ernesto is referring to are the many times things like British helicopters staged through Eelde.
We enjoyed them big time, didn't we, Ernesto?
Hans.

Yes Hans, I'm still impressed by what we saw at Eelde during the eighties...Hans Rolink wrote:What Ernesto is referring to are the many times things like British helicopters staged through Eelde.

Re: EHGG - Groningen/Eelde - 08-04-2011
Wasn't there some rule in the late 1990s/2000s that most (foreign) military movements were to be discouraged at Groningen Eelde Airport? Hope "they" have since revoked that rule...

Re: EHGG - Groningen/Eelde - 08-04-2011
Hhhmmm, okay, i agree on that.......still remember the Gazelle's, lynx's and cougar's/puma's, it was allways fun to have one of those visitors around at Eelde. I was more refering to the numbers of movements and especially the size of the movements (for what i can see now, a 737 was a very rear sight in the 80's, and now they come on daily schedule, or not?
On a small field like Eelde, that can create a lot of nice photo opportunity's, or am i wrong? I'm having plans to go back to Eelde soon, doing some spotting there, for old times sake, enjoying a moment of nostalgy.....
