It seems that one of the most beautiful photo positions at Sion is gone according to this picture:

Especially if you don't have stairs, the small elektricity box was excellent for taking pictures of aircraft approaching runway 25. Photos with awesome (snowy) mountain backgrounds could be taken, but thanks to this Breitling L-39 this possibility is very likely to be ruined.

Even though there's not much military, at least we still have Samedan for real winterspotting .
