Comment: Air New Zealands nächster A320 trägt als Sponsor der einheimischen Rugby-Mannschaft eine famose Sonderlackierung. / Air New Zealand´s next A320 sports a splendid "crazy about rugby" special livery.

Re: PHOTO: Air New Zealand's "RUGBY" A320...
Assuming Air NZ will only have one of these black A320s, I can confirm that it is flying domestic routes in New Zealand. Today I flew WLG-AKL and AKL-WLG on the same jet - everything about the aircraft is brand new!
I fly this route frequently but this is normally done with the 737 - I wonder what will happen to those?

The B733s are being replaced by the A320s.Erik_7Xi wrote:Assuming Air NZ will only have one of these black A320s, I can confirm that it is flying domestic routes in New Zealand. Today I flew WLG-AKL and AKL-WLG on the same jet - everything about the aircraft is brand new!

The -OAB (which will indeed be the only one in a special Rugby World Cup scheme) plus I believe the next two are going straight to domestic flights. The later ones (equipped with sharklets) will replace the current A320 fleet on international flights, and they in turn will replace the remaining B733s.
I'm also looking forward to flying one of these next time I'm "home".
