A KLM Cityhopper Fokker 70, registration PH-WXA performing flight KL-1218 from Oslo Sandefjord (Norway) to Amsterdam (Netherlands),
was about to line up runway 18 for departure when the aircraft began to skid resulting in the nose gear to skid off paved surface.
The airport needed to close until ground crews were able to move the nose gear back onto paved surface and tow the airplane off the runway.
The incident airplane was able to ferry back to Amsterdam as flight KL-7110 about 24 hours later.
The flight was cancelled, the passengers were rebooked onto other flights.
