Can anyone answer the following questions ???????
I understand that the Netherlands SAR units comprise of two Dornier Do-228 (PH-CGC & PH-CGN), can anyone confirm that their rescue callsigns are as follows:
Rescue 1 = PH-CGC ??
Rescue 2 = PH-CGN ??
Does anyone know the Rescue callsigns numbers allocated to the Dutch Lynx’s of 860 at De Kooy

Callsigns are
COASTGUARD 01 & 03 for Do228
COASTGUARD 02 for Lynx Helo's
COASTGUARD 04 for Police Helo's
We also have Rescue Helo's from Leeuwarden
GANNET01 R-01
GANNET02 R-02
GANNET03 R-03
In case of SAR mission callsign will change to RESCUE PEDRO
PEDRO 2,4 are Helo's
PEDRO 1,3 are Fixed wing
RESCUE PLUTO are for Do228 with 1,3 suffix used while providing topcover. Done in the past by our P-3 orions.

I thank you especially for the actual "RESCUE" callsign "NUMBER" and prefix's, that was/is my main interest of building up a list of the RESCUE block "NUMBERS" of callsigns, against countries and the type (and serial where possible), and based location, as this information appears not to be listed anywhere except for the UK and Ireland (Milscanners etc).
It would appear that different countries have different blocks of numbers allocated to them, but trying to find out which numbers are allocated to each country has proved very difficult.

Sorry to trouble you again, but just one slight nagging issue remains!
Maybe I am wrong but I thought that "PEDRO" was the operational callsign, while "PLUTO" was a training callsign.
