Incident: Airtran B712 near Dayton on Aug 12th 2010, engine cowling separated

N981AT at Dayton
An Airtran Boeing 717-200, registration N981AT performing flight FL-807 from Indianapolis,IN to Baltimore,MD (USA) with 48 passengers and 5 crew, was climbing out of Indianapolis when the crew noticed problems with the left hand engine (BR715) and levelled off at 18000 feet.
The crew subsequently decided to divert to Dayton,OH for a safe landing about 20 minutes later.
A post flight inspection revealed that the cowling of the left hand engine had separated during the flight.
