going to old logs.....remember a day at Hopsten on 5-6-1991.
Quite boring day, lying in the gras when suddently a formation of 12 (or 16) Tornado GR.1 showed up.
A bit high but I could cleary see that some Tornado's were in desert C/S....
Tried to reed some serials but whitout succes....
maybe some others have pictures from this formation.(or the serials)
Think it was a kind of farewell flight from a RAFG squadron, maybe a squadron from Laarbruch or Bruggen....
Hope someone can help me out with the serials??
Thanks Rene

Re: REQUEST Hopsten
I believe that around that time 15 and 16 sqn were on the brink of being pulled back to the UK.
Hasn't there also been such kind of a flyby at Volkel during a 311 Sqn family day or something like that in that month?
