An A-64DHA Apache helicopter crashed this morning at Pahi Army helicopter base killing both Pilots. The helicopter was performing a test flight after an inspection and was hovering at 100ft above the main runway when it experienced some kind of rotor or engine problems. The pilot unsuccessfully tried an emergency landing but fire erupted upon contact with the ground and the crew members were not able to evacuate the helicopter in time.

Yes, unfortunately. Megara-Pachi in Attica, Greece is home to the AH-64DHA Apaches of No.2TEEP of the Hellenic Army. My condolences
