Re: ETAD 15-07-10
Nice log, but shouldn't be 480 FS? Or is the 22nd still operational? And if so, when will they switch to 480?

I thought the 480FS story was never official. Was it?
Answers will be questioned.....

Re: ETAD 15-07-10
Their F-16s all flew with callsign "Stinger" and called to Stinger-Ops all indicating they still keep their 22FS traditions, as the stinger is also the batch of the 22FS, so I think they are still 22FS.

Re: ETAD 15-07-10
That certainly makes sense but on the other hand I just notice a picture taken from two SP vipers on Fairford (http://www.scramble.nl/forum/viewtopic. ... 16#p424316" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and there they have the name "Fighting Hawks" stenciled in their blue tailstripe!
Maybe they are in a process of changing their identity?

The Fightin' Hawks is the nickname for the other F-16 squadron at Spang, the 23rd Fighter Squadron.
