Hi,
Went to Denmark for the Skrydstrup air show and afterwards for a two weeks vacation in Sweden. Coincidentally I was in an hour drive from Satenas so did some spotting there also.
Skrudsytrup has been mentioned already here but for completeness sake I will add my logs. Apologies for any inconvenience caused:

The museum is open on Teusday from 1500 - 1700 hours in *even* weeks. A nice museum with very enthousiastic people working here!
I sepnt the afternoon sitting in the 01 approach at coordinates N58.412387° E12.705335° This is a small farmtrack. The Gripens landed 19, whereas the Sk60's landed 01. Runway 11/29 was being reconstrtucted/resurfaced. At N 58.428338° E 12.731279° is a parking place which could be used to conveniently position oneself for RWY 29 approaches, but backlight is apparant here. Nice to see the Swedes seem to have a sort of viewing place in mind here Furthermore no issues with locals /police whatsoever. Just being friendly, waving a hand to farmers driving by comes a long way here I spoke to an English spotter on the 15th (log follows below) and he told me that he was sent away when he was standing closer to the fence earlier. I guess keeping appropiate distance from the fence is advised here.

Again all seen in the 01 approach @ N58.412387° E12.705335° Winds were favourably so all recovered in the best photo position. One of the Tp84's (841) left Satenas from the 19 however
I was very lucky this day! When I arrived a formation of 18 Gripens was just flying overhead. Probably in preparation for the wedding of crown princess Victoria this weekend. And luckily they all recovered at Satenas! The ones with droptanks were presumably from Lulea as they later left again to the north (after they landed first luckily). I am still busy figuring out which units the Gripens belong to. All in all a nice catch!
P.S. all coordinates are in Google Earth format.

Thanks for posting these kind of logs, always nice to read.

Just a tip/request, if you sort the list in some logical order, it makes it a lot more readable. And it will help you delete double entries...nilsko wrote:Skrydstrup (EKSP) 06-06-2010:

This should be an AJS-37. Is this one outside or inside?nilsko wrote:Trollhattan, @ Go-kart center near SAAB car museum: (@ N 58.270309° E 12.273274°)

Re: LOG -Denmark & Sweden
Thanx. It was straight from the logbook so I forgot to sanatize it.
The Viggen is outside and can be seen from the public road. Photography is difficult when the cart centre is closed and you can't go near the viggen. The centre itself is on an elevated part.

Re: LOG -Denmark & Sweden
Hi Nilsko,
It was my friend you spoke to on the approach to Satenas. Just to clarify, we spent Monday (8am-6pm) at the fence with no problems at all. On the Tuesday, despite being in the same position we were politly asked to move away from the base just after 20 Grippens landed, so did so. In total, over the 2 days I noted 26 Grippens flying, most up to 4 times each day.
As for the Grippen at Trollhatten Go-Cart centre, there was a road around the back to drive up that in the end led you up to the Viggen. The industrial unit and go-cart centre were closed and I dont remember seeing and gates! It was all a bit grim and run down though.
Thanks for the log.
Kevin
