Spend some nice weeks in South Africa for a non spotting holiday, of course a base was visit when it was on our safari route.
Our hobby is not that simple in this part of the world......the people accept it but hugh walls from 4 meters high around every base make it quite difficult.
I will try to point out every spot we visited.
BLOEMSPRUIT AB 29-01-2010:
Nothing was seen here because of heavy rains and tunder storms..............the best spot here is 29ᵒ05’56.60 S 26ᵒ17’48.32 E
CAPE TOWN 01-02-2010:

This Huey is doing private flights over the cape town area and based near the waterfront shopping mall at 35ᵒ54’10.78 S 18ᵒ25’10.53 E

Spotting here is also difficult because it is very close to the highway and ofcourse the high wall.
At 33ᵒ53’72.10 S 18ᵒ29’60.90 E are some perfect trees from were you can read the ramps.
The museum is op at weekdays from 7:30 till 15:00, over there ask for a tour at Hanger 4 which is on the active ramps.
